Weekly Bulletin November 7th

Dear Families:

Please read the following information that pertains to Friday, Nov. 7th at Annunciation.

I did not bring the list of volunteer duties home with me, so please check your own calendars and see if you are scheduled. The same goes for dessert families. Thanks to MaryAnn Pluta for providing cake for Nick and Taylor last week, and thanks to Nick and Taylor for sharing it with the rest of us!

Thanks also to the children (and to their parents) who dressed up like saints for our noon time parade. It was fun to see all of you.

Second semester registration will be held on Dec. 12th. Please put that on your calendars. More information will follow. Also on Dec. 12th, we will be having a short program featuring the work of some of our students and we are asking each family to bring 1-2 dozen treats to share that day. I will give you specifics later.

Teachers...if any of your classes would like to present something on that day, please let Carol or Celeste know asap! So far, the choir is planning to sing and Bill Landerholm's Public Speaking class will do a presentation! There is room for more, but we are trying to keep the program to 1/2 hour, so please let us know quickly if your class wants to do something.

Before Thanksgiving, I will put out a list of classes that will be open for new student registration next semester. If you would like to offer a class, or know someone that would like to teach a second semester class, please let Carol or Celeste know asap.

Classroom changes: There will be a couple of classroom moves this week to accomodate the needs of teachers. Biology at 2 p.m. will move into Rm. 1 where Chemistry for Kids has been meeting, and Chemistry for Kids will move into Rm. 8, where the morning arts and projects classes are held. Also, Home Ec. at 11 a.m. will meet in Rm. 8 as well.

Again, please check the lost and found and try to have your children pick up their belongings at the end of the day! I know it's hard...we leave things too. Like a good mom, I have to keep nagging at my own and yours!

See you Friday. God bless you.
