Prior to the first class, students should assemble the notebook we will be filling this year. I recommend a 2" binder. You will need six dividers in the binder, labelled as follows:
1. Summaries
2. Men, Women, & Groups
3. Wars & Conflicts
4. Documents, Legislation, & Government
5. Literature, Technology, & Art
6. Maps & Worksheets
I will be providing each student with a bound blank timeline.
Also, be sure your student brings the Kingfisher History Encylopedia and Around the World in 80 Days to the first class, in addition to the other supplies.
I will be sending weekly assignments by email, and you will need to print pdfs for your students to complete. If this is a problem for you, let me know the first class day and I will send home printed copies of the assignments each week instead.
Also, if anyone has a good Atlas that you could send along to class, it would be helpful.
