Annunciation Classical Cooperative is pleased to announce a new fee structure for our classes!
A basic "membership" in the cooperative will be one fee based on how many children in the family are taking classes. The basic membership includes the following classes: all core classes, all religion, science from grades 1-5, physical education, and any other parent-led classes such as Art for K-2.
1 student: $75/semester
2-4 students: $150/semester
5 or more students: $200/semester
There may be small supply fees for some membership classes, this will be determined by each teacher.
Elective classes are NOT included in the basic membership. These classes include: Art taught by a professional, Junior and Senior High Science, Literature and Composition high school level classes, music appreciation, foreign languages, keyboarding, tap dance.
Families that want to only take electives would pay a $10/student registration fee, and a $10/family cleaning fee; this would be in addition to any fee paid to the teacher for the class.
In order to function under this system, all families will be required to do volunteer work. Volunteer work is defined as a weekly job which would include teaching, acting as a teacher's aid, supervising children outdoors or in the nursery, weekly set-up or cleaning. There are also a couple volunteer jobs that can be done at home, please talk to a board member about this. There will be an additional $75/semester fee for any family who does not want to do volunteer work.
We are hopeful that this will make the cooperative more affordable.
