We will use The Kingfisher History Encyclopedia and The Story of Mankind all year. It is very important you have these books! For those of you who took this level core class last year, The Story of Mankind is not great for modern history, but it is much better for ancient.
Tales of Ancient Egypt, The Golden Goblet, and The Children's Homer are for 1st semester; the remaining books are for 2nd semester.
You will also need a 3 ring binder (1 1/2" or 2")
notebook paper
seven tabbed dividers for the notebook (these will need to be labelled, we will do this the first day of class)
