Some teachers will be sending students assignments to complete BEFORE the first day of Co-op. Teachers will email these, but they will also be posted here.
Science 5th and 6th grades
First day of class: Each family needs to bring a "copy paper" box or shipping box and a roll of aluminum foil to make light hut for growing plants. These can be shared by siblings in the same class.
Homework: (to be completed before 1st day of class) (Syllabus will be handed out 1st day of class for future assignments)
Read: Lesson 1: Botany, read pages 1-9
Do taxonomy exercise: shoe taxonomy pg. 7
Answer "What do you remember ?s" on page 6 and 9 (total of 10 questions) in full sentences, written neatly on lined paper or typed.
